How does it work?

The GoodTrain is an online personal development experience that will take you across Europe and visit different countries by the means of GoodHabitz online courses. Every week, for six weeks, we will stop at a new destination and discover online courses that are typical for that country, but also valuable for you and your own personal development. Forgot to get a new passport for your travels? No worries, we made one for you! In our passport you will see an overview of each country and its specific courses. Excited? So are we! Let’s make this a summer to remember.

Two types of passports.

We have created two types of passports: one with and one without the links to the trainings courses on our website. Do you use your own LMS? Then you can use the passport without links and refer to the training courses on your own platform!

Keep your employees up to date.

Communication is key to a successful campaign! Take your employees on a personal development experience across Europe with our summer campaign. Read more about our activation e-mail and campaign images here, so you have everything you need to encourage your employees to hop on board on the GoodTrain and start learning.

Do you have any questions about the implementation of this campaign? Please feel free to reach out to your coach! 💌

1. The country of Shakespeare.

Today is a good day to begin our Eurotrip! Let’s start in the country known for its historic landmarks such as Stonehenge, the Georgian Baths, St James Cathedral, and Big Ben – we are talking about the United Kingdom. The British are also known for their politeness, friendliness, and good behaviour. Let’s brush up our conversation techniques and learn from the Brits. Along with being polite, the English language is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world – so why not improve your English while you’re here? To round off your UK experience you can also do two of the country's most popular courses: Excel Essentials and Curb your Bias.

2. Two countries, one love: fries! 🍟

The GoodTrain continues its journey through Europe and the next destinations are Belgium and the Netherlands. Belgium, known for their feel-good lifestyle consisting of good food, chocolate and festivals! They are also known for being the home of comic books with stories about Tintin, Lucky Luke and the Smurfs. Heading over to the Netherlands, we better learn how to deal with the Dutch directness but also pick-up on one of their very good characteristics: how to deal with money! Don’t be surprised that the Dutch know how to find a bargain.

3. Nature, hiking and castles 🏰

Next stop is Germany and Austria! Germany, the home of the Autobahn and the home of the Bratwurst and Brezel! We won’t go hungry during our stay here. Germany and Austria are also countries where German is the native language. Even though they do have different accents, German is what’s spoken in both countries, so let’s brush up our language skills. Germans and Austrians are also known for good project- and time management, two skills that will for sure come handy in any organisation. Why not combine your trip in Germany with a trip to Austria and visit the mountains? Austria is known for its beautiful landscape. Discover how to balance your work-lifestyle by breathing in the fresh air in the Austrian mountains and combine it with our course zest for life.

4. The home of pizza and pasta🍕

It’s time to discover the country known for its pizza and pasta – we are talking about Italy. Did you know that the pizza was invented by the Italians in 1860 and that the Italians have been eating pasta since the 4th century B.C? Not strange that they rule the world when it comes to these tasty dishes. Besides passion for food, Italians are also known for being passionate communicators – using strong body language when talking. In addition to having a passion for food and communication, ownership, and delegating also seem to do wonders for the Italians – as SCRUM, Ownership and Sixty Second Delegating were on the top list of favourite courses in 2021.

5. Chocolate, fondue and bubbles!

Our journey continues to Switzerland, the country that speaks four(!) languages and has many cultural differences. Learn how to master these communication and cultural skills, we are sure they will come in handy in any part of your life. After Switzerland we will be crossing the border to France! Did you know that the French won the most Nobel Prizes in literature in the world? They do master the power of writing (and reading!), so we should pick up a tip or two! Both countries share the love for the finer things in life; in Switzerland you have to make sure to get your hands on some Swiss chocolate or cheese fondue, whereas in France you have to stop by one of the many wine yards.

6. Top it off with culture and a good game ⚽️

Almost time to go home, but not before we visit Spain and Portugal. Before visiting Portugal, let’s stop in Spain for some Spanish courses, after all, around 420 million people speak Spanish in the world. Did you know that Spain greatly influenced today’s modern art with artists like Gaudí, Picasso and Dalí? We can all learn how to influence others to become their better self, so let the Spaniards teach us a thing or two. In Portugal we learn from the best when it comes to teamwork and team coaching, they do have some of the best football players and coaches in the world – so they must know what they’re doing. Right? 😉
