Executive transition Annabelle Vultee succeeds Maarten Franken as CEO of GoodHabitz

As of the 1st of May, Annabelle Vultee has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Maarten Franken, the pioneering founder. This represents a key milestone in our global growth plans and commitment to continued innovation in online learning.

Maarten: From vision to victory

Making learning a habit has been the vision driving Maarten Franken for the past 14 years. Maarten led the way in the e-learning industry, managing several Dutch e-learning companies. Since Maarten founded GoodHabitz with Patrick Stijfs in 2011, he paved the way for the company to emerge as Europe's leading provider of online soft skills training.

Now, as he transitions into the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Maarten reflects on his journey of nurturing the company's growth:

“Throughout the years, we've achieved significant milestones, establishing GoodHabitz as Europe's largest online training platform in soft skills and welcoming over 2600 clients. Since the pandemic, our footprint has expanded, and we now operate in 15 countries across Europe and beyond! With over 2600 clients and 6.2 million students worldwide, our online learning library, available in 22+ languages, GoodHabitz ensures that every individual has the opportunity to develop themselves, today and tomorrow.”

Maarten highlights the company's strong financial standing, with consistent profitability driving its success: “GoodHabitz has a solid foundation with a fantastic team, loyal customers, and an extensive range of training programs. I'm pleased to pass the torch to Annabelle while the company is in its best condition.”

 

Looking Forward

Annabelle Vultee, our new CEO, is known for her focus on innovation and digital transformation which will be key foundations for GoodHabitz’ global growth plans. With extensive executive experience across three continents in the education sector, Annabelle's track record speaks for itself. Previously, she held an advisory role at KKR & Co. Inc., served as CEO at EF Education First, based in Shanghai, and is currently a board member at EQuest Education Group in Vietnam.

Anabelle is committed to continuous learning and personal development herself and is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Science degree in AI for Business at the Bologna Business School, staying at the forefront of industry developments.
